Mulled Cider: Empty a bottle of apple cider into a pot. Bring to a boil. Add sachet and simmer 6-8 minutes or until desired flavor is reached. Spike with your favorite tipple.
Mulled Wine: Empty a bottle of decent red wine into a pot. Bring to a simmer. Add sachet and steep 6-8 minutes. You can continue to simmer to concentrate the flavor. And add a half cup of sugar if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Individual Mulled Spice Sachet: Heat one mug of apple cider or wine. Steep sachet 3-5 minutes
Aromatic House-Warming: There's nothing better than entering a home during the holidays filled with the scent of simmering spices and fresh baked goods. Place large sachet in pot of apple juice or water and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce to a simmer and enjoy the scent throughout the night. Just keep an eye on the pot and top off with water if the level gets low.
Spiced Maple Syrup: Simmer 12 oz maple syrup over low heat with a spice bag for 5 minutes. Cover and chill overnight. Remove bag before enjoying the spiced syrup over pancakes. Maybe even pumpkin!
Spiced Vinaigrette: Simmer 2 cups of apple cider vinegar with sachet. Remove from heat and let stand 3 hours. Discard bag and reserve vinegar for festive salad dressings.
